You can take a stroll through their very large pumpkin patch, enjoy a wagon ride through the orchard with its 20 varieties of apples, or let your little ones enjoy the straw jump. Downey’s Farm Market in Brampton is all about the pumpkins as they celebrate another pumpkinfest! You can take a walk through the rows and rows of pumpkins, marvel in the spooky decoration and take in some of the farm activities ideal for the entire family. Located at 13682 Heart Lake Road; Open Monday – Sunday 9 am to 5 pm.
Reesor’s Farm Market in Markham is the place to pick your own pumpkin and its just 40 minutes from Toronto. Boasting a family-friendly corn maze, there is also lots of fall decor you can buy for your home from straw bales to mini-pumpkins. Located at 10825 Ninth Line; Open Monday – Saturday 9 am to 6:30 pm.
Pingle’s Farm Market in Hampton is marking its 31st season, and if you’ve never been there then this is the year to go! There’s a huge eight-acre corn maze, fun wagon rides and of course a tonne of pumpkins the whole family will have fun picking. Located at 1805 Taunton Road East; Open Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday/Sunday 9 am to 5 pm.
Brooks Farms in Mount Albert is getting into the festive fall spirit and all it costs is $15 to gain access to their barnyard playland, pig races and pumpkin cannon show. Located at 122 Ashworth Road; Open Monday – Sunday 9 am – 5 pm.
