North America’s largest Ukrainian Festival

Discover Ukrainian culture in Canada and share the Ukrainian spirit at North America’s largest Ukrainian Street Festival from September 15 to 17.

This is your opportunity to experience Ukrainian culture and hospitality at its best.

Enjoy non-stop entertainment with Ukrainian performers from the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, the USA and Ukraine, including dancers, vocalists, musicians and a special youth segment. Two stages will feature non-stop entertainment. You get also join the fun by dancing at the evening zabava/street dance on Friday and Saturday.

Vendor kiosks will offer delicious, authentic Ukrainian food and beverages, beautiful crafts and collectables.

Cultural pavilions will feature interactive cultural activities and displays of historical and contemporary interest. Enjoy shopping at the sidewalk sale by local Bloor West Village shops and businesses.

Take in the colourful parade, the film festival, the art exhibit, and have fun at the midway. The festival takes place on Bloor St. West between Jane St. and Runnymede Rd.

There will be lots of family-fun activities. Here is the schedule:

   Friday, September 15

                5:00 PM – Festival opens
6:00 PM – Film Festival begins at Runnymede Toronto Public Library
7:00 PM – Entertainment on the Northland Power Festival Stage at Jane St. and the Community Stage at Runnymede Rd.
10:30 PM – Zabava (street dance)

   Saturday, September 16

                9:00 AM – Shop Bloor Street – sidewalk sale and vendors
11:00 AM – Parade along Bloor St. W. from High Park to Jane St.
12:20 PM – Opening Ceremonies at Northland Power Festival Stage and entertainment on both stages throughout the day
2:00 PM – Film Festival at Runnymede Toronto Public Library
7:00 PM – Evening Show at Northland Power Festival Stage
10:30 PM – Zabava (street dance)

   Sunday, September 17

                10:30 AM – Ecumenical Church Service at Northland Power Festival Stage at Jane St.
12:00 PM – Youth Show at Northland Power Festival Stage and entertainment at Community Stage
2:00 PM – Film Festival at Runnymede Toronto Public Library
2:30 PM – Entertainment at Northland Power Festival Stage
5:30 PM – Closing Ceremonies
7:00 PM – Festival Closes

All three days include: delicious food and beverages, entertainment at the Jane and Runnymede Stages, craft/artisan market and vendors, children’s midway, cultural pavilions, sidewalk sale by BIA merchants, buskers, refreshment garden, and the art exhibit.
