Discover the magic of an old-fashioned Christmas

The holiday season has arrived at Black Creek Pioneer Village, and as always they’ll be sporting their festive finery throughout the month of December. Why not pay a visit and help deck the halls, 1860s-style? Yuletide highlights at the Village include:

  • Family Christmas Weekends (through December 23): Enjoy a traditional Victorian Christmas, complete with caroling, tree-trimming, and a taste of some authentic, old-fashioned seasonal treats.
  • Storytime with Santa (December 3, 10, 16 and 17): Bring the youngsters for some face time with the big man in red.
  • Christmas by Lamplight (December 9, 16 and 23): There’s nothing quite like wandering the Village after dark, bathed in the glow of lamps and lanterns. Come for a magical evening filled with Christmas cheer.
  • Sunday Christmas Dinners (December 3, 10 and 17): Let the Half Way House Inn welcome you for an extravagant three-course Christmas feast. Check out the menu!

Blythe, a history actor at Black Creek Pioneer Village says, “The big man himself, Santa Claus, pays a visit to the Village December 3rd, 10th, 16th and 17th.  At Storytime with Santa, gather around Santa’s chair to hear a Christmas tale told by the jolly old elf himself. Decorate a Christmas cookie, make a festive craft, and enjoy a cup of hot apple cider. Tickets are going fast for this special event.”

December is a busy month. But with all that Black Creek Pioneer Village has to offer, you’ll be glad that you made time in your schedule to drop in for a visit.
